Outside Midwest City south of Draper Lake
History
The
area was to be flooded in order to offer better drainage from
Draper Lake. Several bridges in the area were left to
dilapidate, thus resulting in the bridges being closed off. A
house once stood in this area that was said to have a witch
haunting. All that is left of the foundation is a chimney.
At some point in time the house was moved, not the scene of a
fire that is reported. The chimney itself has since been
demolished by vandals.

• Sounds of footsteps from the surrounding woods

• Animals hanging from trees
Investigation
C.O.P.S. team members present: Conrad, Tony, Michael, Russell, two guests
OKCGC team members present: Logan
The
investigation began at the bridge where paranormal activity has
been reported. The team separated into two-man teams and
surrounded the area of the bridge in preparation for E.V.P. and a
knock test. E.V.P. was rather hard to record due to the fact
of the wind. No response was heard after the knock test.
After the knock test was concluded, Conrad reported seeing a
red light throughout the trees near the bridge. Several team
members went with Conrad in an attempt to reproduce the red light
without success. Logan and Russell stayed on the road leading
to the bridge and heard noises several times around them but could
not identify the origin. On the way back up from the bridge,
Tony stumbled across a dead dear lying in the creek bed that had
been shot. The team then reconvened at the top of the bridge to
discuss further action. The team decided to head down to the
house and conduct E.V.P. near the chimney.
No E.V.P. was successfully recorded at this location either at the bridge or the foundation. When temperature allows, the team will re-investigate this location in an attempt to collect more evidence.
