It is the hypothesis of C.O.P.S. that the original owner is not willing to disclose the whole story, or something unusual possibly happened to the property while stored with the auction company prior to its sell.

After visiting with the owner for a while and hearing the first hand accounts of the observed activity, Tony, Ron and John set up equipment throughout the trailer.

The team began with normal I.R.C.s (interactive response communications) in the front room/living room with no apparent outcome. The team then decided to try having a conversation that was “entertaining” and staged to attempt to intrigue any unknown listeners or voyeurs. The staged conversation continued without any incidence of unusual happenings. It was then decided to take a short break.

After the break, John then moved to the back bedroom with the Sony Handicam, digital still camera and an audio digital recorder where the door knocking/kicking was reported. He remained there by himself for around an hour while Tony and Ron continued to investigate the rest of the trailer. John observed with normal eyesight floating “dark” spheres and flashes of light. No sources of the lights, or lack of lights, were identified. The team took another short break.

When the break was over, Ron took John’s place in the back bedroom by himself (with recording equipment), while Tony and John investigated the rest of the trailer. Ron observed similar floating orbs as John had. Due to the fact that the owner stated that he is a Catholic and commented on Demons, Devils and Spirits, Tony recited the Lord’s Prayer since the owner had done similar actions with paranormal reactions. At exactly 3:00am, shortly after the prayer, Tony experienced a painful “thump” in the back of his head, with no apparent source. The sound is substantiated by two separately located audio recorders. It was thought that the prayer may have “stirred” something up, so John began taking many photos, at which time Tony observed what he described as a shadow of a footprint made visible by the flash of the camera. Tony recited the Lord’s Prayer again. The audio recorder’s light began blinking which indicated that there was a problem with it and then Tony experienced what he described as a “kick” in the side of his knee causing great pain. Ron was asked to leave the back bedroom and join the others, since Tony was hurt. The team decided to recite the prayer in unison to see if this was the cause of the activity at which time Tony experienced another blow to the same part of his knee again with greater force which knocked Tony to the floor.

Ron and John assisted Tony in moving to a recliner in the living room area. Tony then felt his hair being pulled very forcefully, again causing much pain. Tony stated that he thought that these reactions may be due to him carrying Rosary Beads. John retrieved the camera from the back bedroom and moved it to the living room with the team. With the camera recording, all three members again tried reciting the prayer again with no reactions. The camera was focused on Tony since he appeared to be experiencing the most commotion. The team then began noticing many lights, flashes and dark orbs occurring just outside the camera’s range near the front door. It was thought that this was an attempt to get the team to reposition the camera, so John made sure that the camera was indeed recording and remained focused on Tony. When John walked back to sit down, he stepped in front of the camera’s view and just then Tony stated that something grabbed his wrist and forced his hand toward his face. He was holding a flashlight in that hand and had to let go of it to prevent it from slamming into his head. The flashlight flew from his hand.

Up to this point, John was not perceptive to any first hand, personal act upon him, but then began feeling as though someone was standing very close to his face. He described it as though someone was just inches from his face and threatening him. He relayed his experience to the others. He explained that he kept repeating “back off!” in his mind, but it continued to encroach on his “space”. After physically backing up, the sensation stopped, but after about a minute the sensation returned from John’s back, like someone sneaking up on him or looking over his shoulder. He turned and stated out loud, “back off”, which caused it to stop. A little later, John had the same feeling coming from above him. His description of the feeling was as if someone was about to drop down on him, again he had to move away and say “stop” out loud.

time was around 5:30am when the team decided that it was time to gather the equipment just before sunrise. The night left the team members with a very uncomfortable feeling. The whole experience was very unnerving and upsetting. John stated that it took two days for him to feel “normal” again.

C.O.P.S. appreciates the opportunity to investigate the Tecumseh Trailer and the team would like to express our deepest thanks to the owner for allowing the investigation. The owner has given permission to C.O.P.S. to investigate the property anytime they have an opportunity and since this type of paranormal activity is rare the team will take full advantage of this invitation to fully explore many other techniques to explain what is causing this type of reaction.

Since the trailer house is vacant, and no one is in any apparent danger, the investigations will continue with the permission of the owner with great care.
