C.O.P.S. Team Members Present: Tony, John, Tim and Allen
Wolf’s PDQ Employee Present: Otis

Investigation - Feburary 23, 2008
The team arrived onsite at approximately 19:00 hours and began initial interviews with Wolf's PDQ employees Otis and Jan.

At 20:15 hours, the team set up equipment and took establishing photographs as well as baseline readings for EMF and surface Temperature.

At 20:55 Hours, Otis, a Wolf’s PDQ Employee, left the interior of the store and sat outside the front doors in his vehicle, leaving the team inside to conduct the investigation which began at 21:00 hours.

During the first hour, the team fanned out through out the main part of the store and John began asking questions as the other members quietly listened and observed. The store remained calm through John’s line of question, save for the ambient noises of the numerous machines and coolers surrounding us. John mentioned the reports of paranormal activity and some of the history surrounding the structure in attempts to establish a sense of familiarity with any type of energy. No results were noticed.

At approximately 21:20 hours, John turned his questions over to Tony. Tony began by attempting to gain the true name of the alleged entity named “George” by the employees of Wolf’s PDQ. As Tony asked the question “We are told that you are named George, is that your real name?” John heard a distinct voice coming from the back storage room, although all team members were accounted for in the main area of the store. John proceeded to adjust the location of an audio recorder, placing atop one of the refrigerators in the storage room. Tony repeated his question, however, no noticeable response was noted.

At 21:40 hours, Tony turned his questions to Allen and Tim who rounded out the hour while Tony and John explored some of the back rooms of the building, noting nothing odd or out of place.

At 22:05 hours, after a short break, the team re-entered the building and concentrated it’s focus on the kitchen area where we had heard reports of pots and other kitchen utensils moving on their own accord and falling from the shelves. Nothing of note was recorded or observed in the kitchen area and our investigation came to a close at approximately 23:00 hours.

Conclusion
Upon review of audio, video and photographs we turned up only three discernable EVP’s (Electronic Voice Phenomena). EVP is the recording of disembodied voices on digital and analog recording devices. These voices are not heard with human ears during the time of the recording, yet are present upon playback. Central Oklahoma Paranormal Studies maintains that the presence of EVP’s alone is not a solid indicator of any type of haunting. EVP’s can quite literally be generally collected at any location and at any time.

During baseline readings and through out the night we discovered numerous sources of electromagnetic fields (EMF) through out the building. Any device that produces or runs off any type of energy, or electricity, including human beings, animals, plants, appliances, televisions, computers, electrical wiring, etc., will produce some level of EMF. Studies have shown us that electromagnetic waves can have a marked effect on the electrical waves of the human brain function and prolonged exposure to higher than normal levels of EMF can cause dizziness, fainting, the seeing of “spots of lights,” the feeling of being watched, paranoia and hallucinations. Specific areas of the store which contained high levels of EMF are the Cash Register/Soda and Coffee Bar, the Kitchen, the Men’s and Women’s restrooms and near the Front Door of the store. All of these areas contained some sort of wiring or electrical equipment that produced noted increased levels of EMF.

One possible conclusion concerning the movement of kitchen utensils is that the kitchen serves host to several different varying temperature fields. We noticed that after the kitchen shut down, the stove and deep fryer were still registering temperatures of above one hundred degrees while the presence of a freezer in the kitchen directly provides a contrasting temperature field. Combine these factors with the heating and air conditioning unit and an abundance of metal and one can see that noises, even movement, can be caused by the contracting and expanding of metal, and other substances, in a field where multiple temperatures are present.

With the lack of any corroborating video or still photography to support our three captured EVP’s, Central Oklahoma Paranormal Studies can not say for a fact that Wolf’s PDQ is haunted. However, please keep in mind that we were only present for a certain period and, unfortunately, entities do not perform on command. We are not able to discount all claims of paranormal activity, though we do believe that higher levels of EMF present as well as the presence of contrasting temperature fields in the location have played part in the experiences of alleged paranormal activity. We would like to thank the owners and employees of Wolf’s PDQ and we would like to return in the future for another chance to investigate.
