History
Since
1948, Sleepy Hollow has served the Oklahoma City patrons some of
the finest fried chicken and chicken fried steaks in a relaxed,
family atmosphere. Tucked back into the woods with lots of windows,
customers can enjoy the peaceful forest-like surroundings with all
the comforts of climate control. The new owner, Yolandra, has
succeeded in the restoration of an Oklahoma classic while providing
a balance with of the modern amenities as well.
Sometimes there are whispers of paranormal
activities that happen late at night when the doors close, and the
efficient staff begin their clean up duties. The unexplained
shadowy figures that are viewed out of the corner of the eye, the
noises, creaks, and bumps have the staff a bit concerned that the
restaurant may continue to house some of Oklahoma's past
inhabitants.
Reports of Paranormal Activity
• Strange noises and footsteps.
• Shadowy figures seen moving about the building.
• Doors opening and closing by themselves.

Investigation Friday, May 25th, 2007
Team Members Present: Tony, Ron (Advisor from P.R.O.S.), Conrad, John
On
Friday, at approximately 21:00 hours of May 25th, 2007 the Central
Oklahoma Paranormal Studies team entered Sleepy Hollow Restaurant
to enjoy a meal before the investigation.
After
eating a delicious meal and all of the regular patrons had left,
the team’s equipment was set up.
The
team heard a noise that sounded like someone banging into the metal
kitchen doors while no one was around to make the noise. (This
noise is noted on the audio of the only video camera that was
operating at the time.)
A
session of I.R.C.s (Interactive Response Communication) was
conducted at the front solarium dining area with no apparent
results, but unexplained shadows were observed in the bar dining
area so the team moved to that area. The restaurant staff was
monitoring the DVR camera system and noted a smoky-like white
figure moving about the bar area.
A
session of I.R.C.s was conducted in the bar area. It was noticed
that some of the votive table candles were being moved during the
investigation. All attempts to debunk proved fruitless. John asked
the entity to move something other than the candles, at which time
a chair was then apparently moved without anyone in the
area.
The
team then conducted an I.R.C. session in the kitchen area. The EMF
detectors registered a lot of electrical interference. It was
concluded that there may be cause to suspect that the electric
magnetic field could cause false positives in that
area.
The
team wrapped up the investigation at approximately 01:00 hours,
Saturday morning.
