Tony and Logan met Ron out at the LTRS (Long Term Research Site) one night to see what all can be captured on either film or audio. The main focus of the evening was the basement area. The stories that circulate around this area of the mercantile tell of how a brutal murder occurred near the shower room. A female presence has also been seen on all floors of the mercantile.

Tony, Logan, and Ron got set up in the basement facing the camcorder near a chair they heard a noise emit from. After the camera was running, Russell showed up and headed down into the basement with everyone else. Ron and Tony headed down to the far north end of the basement where the couch was found on a previous investigation while Logan and Russell stayed near the basement entry and near the camcorder. Tony began asking standard questions followed by a knock test with no response. Everyone did, however, experience something that was not directly the result of interaction. Logan and Russell commented on how the basement seemed to be getting darker, contrary to the human eye focusing better with time in dark places. Tony and Ron noticed seeing a shadow move across one of the walls. Russell saw what appeared to be a shadow but was made out of light, not dark. Footsteps were heard over heard, so Logan and Ron decided to head up to the first floor and Russell and Tony stayed in the basement.

Once Ron and Logan got settled upstairs, Tony took a picture of the hallway. As he moved the camera to his side, he saw a women standing next to him leaning against the wall. Tony said she was looking right at him and didn't move until he spoke and she disappeared. Russell wasn't looking at the wall, so he couldn't verify that a woman was standing there, but the atmosphere did changed right before Tony saw the woman.

After a few more questions were asked, Tony and Russell headed back upstairs and talked with Ron and Logan. Ron brought a motion-activated camera and placed it upstairs facing the staircase.
