Location
Oklahoma City Metro Area **Due to the nature of the location
and how dangerous the structure is we will not be posting the
location for this investigation**
History
This school was reportedly closed sometime in the late 80's and was
damaged by arson in 2000; moreover, was torn down by the city in
mid 2007. No other history is available for the location at
this time.

Investigation Saturday, November 11th,
2006

The
investigation began with a quick sweep of the school building and
grounds using our EMF detectors, voice recorders and an IR
thermometer. During the sweep we detected some odd EMF spikes
and temperature fluctuations through out the school.
After the sweep, we decided, due to
random activity throughout, to spend time in each room conducting
various tests. Beginning in the gymnasium and stage area of the
school, we noticed an increase in EMF activations.
Coinciding with those EMF activations we experienced
equipment battery failure, temperature fluctuations, odd smells
such as perfume and bacon, USP's, kinetic activity, orbs and
correlating EVP's.
An aspect of the investigation
still confusing us involves the EMF detectors and their activation.
Using two K2 EMF detectors with two separate people holding
them, those two people would sweep until they picked up activity.
When one EMF detector would register, the other detector
would be held directly to the side of the one registering.
Oddly enough, when they were both held parallel, only one
detector would activate. Why would only one detector register
a fluctuation in an electromagnetic field? To attempt to
answer this question, the two investigators swapped EMF detectors
and put fresh, brand new batteries in each. We still produced
the same results.

Investigation Friday, November 17th,
2006
Our
team, in conjunction with PROS, has conducted many follow up
investigations of this abandoned school. We are still
unable to explain the strange EMF readings we are
documenting.
Through IRC's we have established
that if the school truly does house paranormal entities that they
can respond to questions in real time by activating our EMF
detectors. Multiple times we have had sessions where the EMF
detector served as means to answer our various yes or no questions.
For example, an investigator could ask "If you are male,
would you please light up the meter or touch the green light?,"
followed by a high reading and then a drop to a constant low
reading. During these sessions we continued to experience the
same phenomena of having only one detector register while the other
is next to or circled around it. We are not sure what the
answer is, however we do conclude that our "question and answer"
sessions are not merely coincidence.
In
addition to us asking questions we could also ask and encourage an
entity, if they truly are present there, to, once we registered
EMF, take our hand, so to speak, and follow us as we moved about
the school. Once again, we were left dumbfounded, watching an
investigator move from one side of the gymnasium to the other,
pleading the presence to follow, with his EMF detector remaining on
a constant high level register. We hope to have video
posted of this phenomena soon. If anyone could offer
information as to what could be causing this please contact
us.

During
another follow up on this site, the team members experienced the
same EMF fluctuations as before on previous trips. Several
more IRC's were administered with positive response. The team
set the Sony recorder on the stage to eliminate any false positives
created by holding the recorder in hand. The team left
shortly afterward. C.O.P.S. will be returning to the school
with control objects to see if physical interaction is possible.
Stay tuned.

C.O.P.S. returned to the site to administer EVP
and photo documentation as well as element recreation with a small
control flame. Members of the team believe introducing a
control flame could possibly catalyze a paranormal response.
After the control flame was lit, the ambient temperature in
the auditorium dropped 5-10 degrees and the members were
overwhelmed with a feeling of apprehension. Knock tests were
performed in the auditorium, the nurse's station, and two
classrooms with no response. The team continued to sweep
towards the cafeteria. After EMF sweeps, the team headed back
to the auditorium to conduct a question and answer session with the
digital recorder. The EVP's below were recorded during this
time. The team was at the school for about 90 minutes and
concluded the investigation.

Investigation 5

OKCGC team members present: Logan
The
team arrived around 10:45 p.m. to further conduct I.R.C's at the
school. The team went into the auditorium and performed EMF
sweeps. As the team started into the "nurse's station,"
Michael reported seeing a shadow and a noise coming from the
auditorium. The team went back into the auditorium to decide
whether or not the noise was caused by an outside factor. At
this point, the team set up to do E.V.P. work. Russell
conducted the E.V.P. session gearing most of the questions as to
how spirits and entities perceive the living. After ten
minutes, the team resumed their sweeps into the rest of the
building. The team stepped into classroom B to do more E.V.P.
work. After the team asked "Please make your presence known,"
everyone heard a loud crash with ensuing movement orientating from
the direction of the auditorium. Thinking the crash derived
from an outside human element, the team searched the entire grounds
in efforts to locate an explanation. The team found no
evidence inside or outside the school to support human
intervention. Shortly there after, due to time constraints,
the team concluded the investigation. One possible E.V.P. was
recorded along with several picture anomalies.

Investigation 6
C.O.P.S. team members present: Tony, Trey, Michael, Russell
OKCGC team members present: Logan
C.O.P.S. decided to head back to the school to
attempt capturing any more USP's (i.e. the loud crash the team
heard before on Investigation 5). Also, the team recently
acquired a new Sony Handycam DV camcorder as well as an external IR
extender for nightshot use. The IR extender emits a light
invisible to the naked eye, but lights up a room when viewed
through the camcorder with the nightshot feature enabled.
This allows the team to see in total darkness and is also a
better way to capture visual anomalies on the move, rather than by
digital cameras alone.
