Southwest of Ponca City
History
The
ranch was founded in 1893 by George Miller and was ran by his wife
Molly and their children for 43 years. Some of the first
western movies were filmed at the historical 101 Ranch, and is now
listed as an Oklahoma Historical site.

The
team arrived on a cool, crisp December evening after a extended
rain shower. The team surveyed what was left of the
structures from days gone by. All that remains of the 'White
House' is a stone basement that was leaking profusely from the
rain. Logan, Tony, Russell, and Brad went down into the
basement first and proceeded into a secluded room to the left of
the staircase. Allison and Donald remained at the top of the
stairs. This room had just on entry point and no windows.
Aside from the entry way, the team was engulfed in complete
darkness. Almost immediately, all the team members started
feeling a presence of anxiousness and unwanting-ness. Logan
began asking standard EVP questions when all the members started
hearing footsteps around the basement and staircase. After
the team set in for a few minutes, Logan witnessed the silhouette
of a woman by one of the windows disappear. Shortly after,
Tony and Logan heard a female whimpering coming from the east side
of the basement. Brad felt a cold breeze across his face in
the room with no windows. Shortly after Brad reported
something touching his ear. Logan continued asking EVP
questions when he noticed a black haze settling over the room.
The sounds of footsteps continued throughout the basement, so
the team decided to break up to cover more ground. Russell
and Brad stayed in the dark room, while Logan and Tony went to the
stairs and adjacent room. During all this, Allison and Donald
remained stationary. Once Tony was in the back room he still
heard footsteps all around him. At this point the team had
been in the basement for about 30 minutes, so Tony left the Sony
recorder in the basement while the team investigated the other
parts of the 101 ranch.
After several more pictures were
taken outside of the basement of the surrounding structures, Tony
retrieved the recorder from within the basement. A few more
minutes were spent talking of the history if the ranch and
N.O.R.I.P.'s previous EVPs collected. When the weather warms
up considerable, COPS plans a return visit.
